Amanda Wilbourne, owner of the Nautical Dog in New Town admits she is a dog lover at heart.
After spending several years in the retail business, she decided she would focus her expertise on a store which would combine the things that she enjoyed most.
That goal became the Nautical Dog in New Town, a name she credits her dad with creating. The store offers a variety of unique items for home and pets.

Most people are very shocked when they walk in to find such an array of merchandise. For the dog lover, there are endless items to choose from. It is definitely a dog lover’s paradise. Of course dogs are welcome with their owners.
It makes for the ultimate shopping experience to have your dog beside you.

The store carries a variety of dog clothing and accessories. There’s also specialty dog collars, dog-themed gifts, stationary, and a dog bakery featuring gourmet doggie treats. It’s named “Roxy’s Bakery” after her own dog, Roxy, a Corgi who is a store regular. Even those who don’t own a dog can find something at the store including home decor items, McCall’s candles, one of a kind jewelry, gourmet snacks such as Blue Crab Bay & Gullah Gourmet, & much more!
